A journey through time to the Cologne of the Golden Twenties

What do you think it felt like to live in Cologne in the 1920s? The new
TimeRide exhibition takes visitors of all ages on an exciting journey through the history of the cathedral city. With virtual reality goggles, time travellers discover the old Cologne and the lifestyle of that time in a 360-degree panoramic view. Special effects provide a real driving experience in the detailed replica of a tram, which the tram driver Pitter steers through the narrow streets to the carnival hustle and bustle of 1926. The lovingly designed hatter's shop and a cinema also bring Cologne's golden age back to life. The 45-minute journey back in time is perfect for families with children aged from the age of six.
